I’m in a big time rut when it comes to introducing new fruits and vegetables to my kids. It’s easy to prepare the same food, day after day, in the same way they’re used to, especially when I can’t get food on the table fast enough. I decided to change it up this year. This blog is dedicated to trying a new vegetable or fruit, in the order of the alphabet, at least once per week. The idea is to broaden their palettes – and expand my culinary skills and knowledge at the same time.

Feel free to follow along on this journey. Along the way, I’ll be sharing recipes, prep techniques, and whether or not they ate it or threw it at me. By the way, I’m the mom of two 8 year olds (a boy and a girl) who agreed to be part of the adventure, and acknowledged that means trying at least one bite of the new food.
